A club wallet.
For every club in Croatia.

Your club's own branded finance app: membership dues, donations, funds and season passes — in euros, with full public transparency. No cash, no fees on on-chain payments, and no club access to members' money.

Why this exists

The club treasury is stuck in the 1990s.
Its members live in 2026.

Thousands of small clubs still run their finances out of an envelope, a notebook and a spreadsheet. The people running them are volunteers — while their members pay for everything else with a phone.

"Who has paid?"

Cash collected at training, paper lists, spreadsheets that never quite reconcile. A volunteer treasurer loses weekends chasing the numbers — and everything rests on one person.

Fees eat the membership fee

Card payments typically cost around 1.5 % + €0.25 per transaction (Stripe, EEA cards) — on a €2 weekly subscription that is a 14 % tax. And a SEPA transfer at most Croatian banks costs the sender €0.25–0.40.

The money disappears into fog

Members pay in — and then see nothing. Where did it go? Who decided? Without transparency, trust erodes, and willingness to give erodes with it.

What about fan tokens? They are not the answer. A UK parliamentary committee (2023) recommended that fan tokens be excluded as a measure of fan engagement, and the advertising regulator ruled their ads misleading. Fans want to support their club — not speculate.
Product

One app.
The club's entire financial life.

Everything a club collects, raises and spends — in one place, in euros, on a public record. Every feature below exists in the prototype.

Membership dues

A prepaid model: one Face ID confirmation covers the whole season. Tiers set by the club — say, Supporter at €2/week or Sponsor at €15/month.

amounts are illustrative

Donations and solidarity

Campaigns with a clear goal — renovating the pitch, new floodlights. Anything raised above target flows automatically into the club's standing Solidarity Fund, not into anyone's pocket.

Dedicated funds

Youth academy, pitch and facilities, kit, senior squad — each fund is its own smart account. Money raised for the children cannot "leak" into other costs.

Transparent spending

A public register of expenses: referees, travel, kit, entry fees. Every cost is a transaction in a public ledger — with no personal data, ever.

Club points

Non-transferable points for volunteers — coaches, parents, organisers. Only the club can award them, and they can only be spent within the club (~1 point ≈ €1).

illustrative

Season pass

A season ticket that lives in the wallet, with a QR code at the turnstile — plus SofaStream coverage of away matches, wherever the fan happens to be.

How it works

For a member: three steps to the first payment.

No password, no seed phrase, no crypto jargon. If you can unlock your phone, you can use a club wallet.

1

Open your club's app

At your club's own address (for example lomnica.ff.hr) you create a wallet with a single tap — Face ID or fingerprint. The key stays on your device (Apple/Google Keychain).

2

Pay in the way you already pay — by SEPA

You get an IBAN of your own. Every transfer into it automatically becomes EURe — regulated e-money pegged 1:1 to the euro (Monerium, EMI licence).

3

One confirmation — and everyone can see it

Dues, a donation or a ticket are confirmed with a single tap. Every transaction lands in the club's public Activity feed — and you decide whether your name is on it or you stay pseudonymous.

  • Your money, your keys. The wallet is a smart account (Safe) owned by your passkey — the club has no technical way to access it.
  • No seed phrase. No twelve words on a scrap of paper. Recovery runs through your Apple/Google account, like everything else on your phone.
  • Euros, not tokens. What you hold in the wallet is always a euro. No exchange rate, no volatility, no speculation.

For clubs

Your club already has an app.

Croatia has 1,452 registered clubs and 111,210 players (HNS). From a public catalogue we generated a branded demo for 1,014 of them — colours pulled straight from the crest, a dedicated address, an icon and a splash screen. Nothing to install, nothing to submit.

Please note: these demos are a prototype — clubs do not yet receive real payments through them. Crests and club data come from the public catalogue klubovi.domovina.ai (CC-BY 4.0) and are shown for demonstration purposes only.
Under the hood

Regulated euros. Self-custody. A public ledger.

This is not "another crypto project": the value is always a euro, the infrastructure is public, and the keys belong to the members.

  • EURe is e-money under MiCA. It is issued by Monerium — a licensed electronic money institution (EMI) — backed 1:1 by euro reserves held in safeguarded accounts, and redeemable for euros at any time.
  • Safe smart accounts on Gnosis. Every member, fund and campaign has its own account on a public ledger — live on Ethereum, Gnosis and Polygon, plus additional networks.
  • A passkey instead of a password. The WebAuthn standard: the key never leaves the device, phishing is all but impossible, and recovery runs through your Apple/Google account.
  • Transparent by design. Every club transaction is publicly auditable; personal data never goes on the public ledger — never. Croatian clubs (as associations) already file annual reports publicly with the Register of Non-Profit Organisations (FINA) — a public ledger turns that into a single click.

Comparison

The old treasury versus FootballFans.

The old treasury

  • Cash collected at training and spreadsheets that never reconcile
  • ~1.5 % + €0.25 in card fees on every payment
  • "Who has paid?" — the treasurer's eternal question
  • Members cannot see where the money goes — trust on blind faith
  • Everything depends on one volunteer and their notebook

FootballFans

  • Euros in every member's self-custody wallet
  • €0 in fees on on-chain payments
  • Automatic records — every payment books itself
  • Every expense publicly auditable, in real time
  • The club never holds members' money — no treasury risk
What about fan tokens? Speculation, not membership. FootballFans is euro-denominated: a member always holds euros, not a token whose value swings up and down.
Matchday

A season pass that lives in the wallet.

The season ticket is paid for from the same wallet as the membership dues, and shown as a QR code at the gate. For away matches — SofaStream: live coverage, wherever the fan happens to be.

  • QR entry at the stadium — no paper, no stickers, no "I left my card at home".
  • €2 a week instead of €6 per match — a €112 season pass works out at €2 a match (−67 %). Amounts are illustrative.
  • SofaStream coverage of away matches for members — the transaction layer and the streaming layer in one app.

Where this is going

From a live prototype to infrastructure
for grassroots football.

An honest picture of where things stand: what is built, what is next, what is vision.

Now built

1,014 branded demos live on *.ff.hr — colours from the crest, a dedicated address, PWA. A design prototype of the wallet with all 10 screens (mock data).

Next in progress

Monerium EURe integration (sandbox → production) and the first pilot clubs: real dues, real donations, a real public ledger.

Planned plan

Clubs' own domains (nk-your-club.hr), SofaStream in production on *.ss.hr, and packages for federations and leagues with consolidated reporting.

Vision aspiration

Partnerships with platforms that already live and breathe grassroots football — the natural home for this story would be a platform such as Sofascore (120M+ users a year; Torneo is already digitising amateur sport — 100,000+ teams across 160+ countries). Alongside Monerium, alternative rails are in development — such as Airkuna (EU eID identity + a euro rail).

To be clear: Sofascore and Airkuna are named here as vision and aspiration only — there is no contractual partnership and no connection of any kind with those companies at this time.
Pricing

A model a small club can actually afford.

This is a prototype — the prices are a proposed model, not an offer. Calibrated against the club software market.

Questions

What everyone asks first.

Is this crypto speculation?

No. What sits in the wallet is EURe — electronic money pegged 1:1 to the euro, issued by a licensed EMI (Monerium) and governed by the European MiCA regulation. No exchange rate, no volatility. We deliberately do not use fan tokens.

What if I lose my phone?

The key is a passkey stored in the Apple/Google Keychain — you recover it by signing in to your Apple/Google account on the new device, just like everything else. There is no seed phrase to lose.

Can the club (or you) take members' money?

No. Each member's wallet is a Safe smart account owned exclusively by their passkey. Neither the club nor FootballFans holds the keys — that is the whole point of self-custody.

Do I need to complete KYC?

For EURe and your own IBAN — yes: Monerium runs standard KYC for individuals and KYB for legal entities, exactly like any other regulated financial institution. The wallet itself (the keys) is yours without anyone's permission.

What does a payment cost?

On-chain payments within the club: €0. A SEPA transfer to your EURe IBAN via Monerium's infrastructure: free. For comparison, card payments typically cost around 1.5 % + €0.25 per transaction.

Is this already in production?

Honestly: the wallet is a design prototype with mock data. What is genuinely real today is the live branded demo for all 1,014 Croatian clubs on *.ff.hr. The next step is the EURe integration with pilot clubs.
